Seven Easy Steps to Writing a Eulogy

Step One: Gather information. Jot down as many personal notes about the deceased as possible. Look at photos. Flipping through photo albums may remind you of important qualities and memories of the person who died. Answer a few questions: What made your loved one truly happy? What inspired you to write this eulogy? What were your loved ones passions? What will you remember most about this person? Keep in mind that a eulogy is not a biography but more your personal thoughts and remembrances from your point of view. You may want to ask co-workers, friends and others for their stories and memories. You should see some repetition in your notes and this will lead to the main theme.

Step Two: Begin to organize your content. Outline the eulogy in these steps:

I. A beginning to establish your theme.

II. A middle section to build on your theme with personal stories, information, quotes, comments, sayings, poems and other content. This information should make up 90% of the eulogy.

III. A short conclusion to summarize your thoughts and restate your theme.

Step Three: Work first on the middle section (Part II). Once you have this part the beginning and summary will be easy. Develop the outline by grouping similar themes from your notes from Step 1. For example, you might want to gather all the achievements together. Merge the comments about the deceaseds philosophy of life.

Step Four: Organize the conclusion (Part III). A conclusion reminds the listeners of the theme and imprints the strong feeling you have about the loss. The key is to conclude effectively and quickly. Here is an example: We will all miss Jackies sense of humor, her talent for knowing what is really important in life and her famous chocolate chip cookies (a little humor doesnt hurt as long as its not offensive to anyone). Her example lives as an inspiration for all of us to follow.

Step Five: Write the beginning of the eulogy (Part 1). This usually starts with an attention getter. It will set the theme and can be in the form of a short story, a poem, a saying, lyrics to a song. It will introduce the goal and theme you used when you began the process.

Step Six: Polish it up. Your best bet is to walk away from it for a few hours or overnight if possible. Work on it so it sounds like a conversation. You want to talk to the audience as naturally as possible.

Key tips:

  • Keep it short, 4-8 minutes long, 3-7 typed pages.
  • Type it out using 14 pt type so its easy to read.
  • Vary sentence length.
  • Number the pages.
  • Practice the eulogy aloud and time yourself.
  • Read it to friends and family and get their feedback. Edit where necessary.
  • Keep the content in good taste and keep it positive.

Step Seven: Delivering the eulogy. While normally speakers do not read word-for-word, because you are more than likely going to be emotional, dont be afraid to read word for word. This way you wont leave out any key points you or others wanted said. If making eye contact with members of the audience will make you emotional, either try and keep your eyes on the page or look just over the top of the audience to the back of the room.

Feel free to pause, take a deep breath and drink some water. Everyone will understand. They are emotionally distraught also.

Speak as naturally as you can just as if you were telling someone about your loved one. Speak up. Its very important that you speak clearly and loudly so that everyone can hear you.

Keep the written eulogy as a memento. You can add it to your memento chest and share it with others who may want a copy.

By following these steps, writing and delivering a eulogy will become less stressful and more of a healing process.

  • Wisdom In Her Words And Between Me And Jesus

There was a glow in her eyes,
    She was smiling that smile...
    Of knowing all,
    And wisdom in her words.

    As I sat and listened,
    With a careful ear...
    Was her's a message,
    I was waiting to hear?

I had buried in my heart,
    Not telling anyone...
    My heart-felt prayer,
    Afraid it might come true.

I would have to be strong then,
To wait 'till it could be so...
    I didn't think I could,
Deep in my heart the desire stayed.

But she gave me the courage,
    With her believing eyes...
    Could it be so,
    A miracle to come?

    I really don't know,
    But the prayer no longer...
    Lies within,
As she knows, I know, and God.

Now that my prayer is known,
    I feel relieved...
    I am starting to believe,
And willing to wait... and see.

    ...

    Between Me and Jesus.

    No one had told me,
    No, not a soul...
    Yet I knew.
    It was meant for me.

    Many had come and gone,
    Telling me what was right...
    What they thought was good.
    I nodded my head.

While I turned in all directions,
    Looking for a clue...
    It happened.
That which was wisest and true.

    I had forgotten,
    I had prayed...
With a yearning in my heart.
Here before me was the answer.

    And I know so well,
    He will do it again...
    No one else can.
    It's between me and Jesus.

    No one told me,
    No, no not a soul...
    Yet I knew.
    It's between me and Jesus.

    Utilizing The Law of Attraction

The law of attraction states that you will attract into your life-whether wanted or unwanted-whatever you give your energy, focus, and attention to. You are constantly giving off vibrations of energy when you think and feel. These vibrations can be picked up and received by other people. That's why people say, he has good vibes, or he gives off bad vibes. You are constantly giving off vibrations.

If youre feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, loving, appreciative, abundant, prosperous, relaxed and peaceful, you are giving off positive vibrations.

On the other hand, if you are feeling bored, anxious, worried, confused, sad, lonely, hurt, angry, resentful, guilty, disappointed, frustrated, overwhelmed, stressed out, or depressed, then you are giving off negative vibrations.

The law of attraction states that the universe responds to whatever you are offering -- by giving you more of whatever you are vibrating. It doesnt care whether it is good for you or not; it simply responds to your vibration.

If you saw the film The Secret, you saw this explained in great detail.

The problem is that most of the time, you are not aware of what vibration you are offering. You are simply responding to things outside of youcurrent events, the news, how people treat you, the stock market , how much money you are making, how your children are doing in school, whether or not your favorite sports team winsand then having a feeling that is either positive or negative.

When you are simply responding unconsciously to what happens around you, you tend to stay stuck in your current condition. This is why most peoples lives never seem to change very much. They get stuck in a repeating cycle of recreating the same reality over and over by the vibration they are sending out.

It works like this First you observe what you currently have and are currently receiving in your life. You call this your reality. You respond to what you observe with a feeling, positive or negative, which then gives off that vibration to the universe. The law of attraction then responds to this vibration and brings you more of what you were vibrating. This keeps the cycle going over and over, until you choose to change it through the exertion of your will. You are a victim of your lack of awareness of the law of attraction.

    The Process of Intentional Creation
It is possible to get out of this vicious cycle and create what you want instead of continually recreating what you already have. It is a simple three step process that you can begin immediately.

If youve been implementing the action steps at the end of each principle I coach you through in The Success Principles: 30-Day Journey Audio Course, you have already begun this process.

Step 1: Identify what you truly desire & eliminate the negative

It is important to focus on what you want rather than what you dont want. You must state it in the positive and filter out the words dont, not and no. Remember, your mind works in pictures and if you say I dont want to be mad, you are creating the picture and thus the vibration of being mad. You must create the opposite of what you dont want.

Step 2: Raise your vibration level

Your job in stage two is to create a vibrational match for that which you say you want to have. How would you be feeling if you already had those thingsthe perfect job, the perfect relationship, the mount of money that you want to have?

Your job is to identify what makes you feel good and do more of it, then learn not to tolerate your negative feelings.

Affirmations are an important component in raising your vibrational level to what it is you want. Remember, the law of attraction does not respond to the words you use or the thoughts you think. It simply responds to how you feel about what you say and how you feel about what you think.

For information on how to create even more effective affirmations, review pages 75-80 in The Success Principles, where youll find my Nine Guidelines for Creating Effective Visualizations.

Step 3. Release it and allow it.

In this third step you simply release your affirmation, your vibration, and your feelings to the universe to take care of your request or order as I call it. But you have to abstain from any doubts. If you doubt you can have it in any way, then you are not allowing it. You are pushing it away and you end up with contradictory messages to the universe

It is only when the contradictory thoughts, talk, and images are removed that your desired results will manifest. The faster you remove your resistance, the faster your dreams can be realized.

    Weird Inventions

Weird inventions can be profitable. I just saw a report on the news about an automated dog wash at a car wash. Get the car and the dog clean all at once! Of course, ideas for inventions that are just weird and interesting or funny is okay too. By the way, the ideas below are not patented, so feel free to take them, make them, patent them and earn a few dollars with them. Good luck!

Wind chimes made from bones. There are a lot of people out there who like the morbid side of life, and I'll bet they buy wind chimes too. Of course, they don't have to be human bones!

Machine that induces naps. Some of the brain wave entrainment CDs I've been using for months are really powerful. One puts me to sleep everytime, anytime of the day. This technology could be used to create a system for baby cribs and kid's beds. The machine would play CDs which slow down brain waves and puts kids to sleep. More than a few parents would buy this.

Wall-mounted furniture. Have a steel track built into the perimeter of the room, and furniture designed to hang from this. The couches, tables and chairs wouldn't need legs, and would be easy to clean under. Of course, if you produce the system, the customer has to buy furniture from you.

Furniture that glows in the dark. Perhaps it would be more practical to have just the edges trimmed with a glow-in-the-dark material. No more bumping into the coffee table in the dark, and a nice party atmosphere too.

Alarm clock that uses voices. Here's one of those easy inventions, and it isn't even that weird. Use one of the "sampler" chips that are found in electronic keyboards. Push the button to record a short message-alarm. Wake up to your own voice, or record a wake-up message from a sexy friend for more motivation. Have it say what you want. "You're late for work!" might work, or might just give you a heart attack.

Exam survival kit. Are you ready for that big exam? Now you are, with your new Examomatic Survival Kit. The kit contains caffeine pills, ginkgo biloba capsules, aromatic oils that "wake up" the brain, and a dozen quick tips for instantly raising your IQ.

Fish kite. look, in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane... no, it's the new flying fish kite! It's an inflatable kite (no kite sticks), but it flys just like any kite. Comes with a fishing pole for the kitestring, so you can just reel it in when you're done. Fishing in the sky!

A few ideas, and now it's time to come up with your own weird inventions.

Six Important Managerial Skills For Successful Leadership

A mark of a good leader is to be able to provide consistent motivation to his team encouraging them to attain excellence and quality in their performance. A good leader is always looking for ways to improve production and standards. Here are six management skills you can develop as a leader in working to create a quality effective team.

    1.Observation

This is an important aspect that often gets neglected due the demands on a leaders time and schedule. Observation and regular visits to the work environment are a priority and should be scheduled into the calendar. Observing employees at work, the procedures, interaction and work flow is foundational to implementing adjustments to improve results. To have credibility, a leader needs to be seen and be known to be up to date with what is happening in the work place.

    2.Monitor Employee Performance

Employee performance needs to be monitored in mutually accepted ways. Policies and procedures need to be clear. Conferencing should be on a regular basis and not just when there is a problem. Assessments and evaluations should not be merely all formality or viewed a necessary paperwork to be done and filed away. Individual and group conferencing should be undertaken not only to monitor performance, but with the expectation of on going professional development and support. There should be frequent encouragement and clear criteria for on going goals both for the group and individual.

    3.Implementation of Professional Development Programs

A good leader evaluates weaknesses and provides training and development strategies to strengthen the weaker skills in the team.

    4.Demonstrates Working Knowledge and Expertise

Good leadership comes from a place of strong knowledge and experience of the production and process leading to results. If a leader does not possess all the expertise and knowledge personally, then regular consultations with experts involved in the departments should be held. This is important in order to maintain an accurate and informed overall picture.

    5.Good Decision Making

Good leadership is characterized by the ability to make good decisions. A leader considers all the different factors before making a decision. Clear firm decisions, combined with the willingness and flexibility to adapt and adjust decisions when necessary, create confidence in the leadership.

6.Ability to Conduct and Evaluate Research

On going review and research is vital in order to keep on the cutting edge in business. While managing the present to ensure on going excellence in product and performance, a good leader is also able to look towards the future. Conducting and evaluating research is an important way of planning and being prepared for the future.

Excellent leadership is always pro active rather than reactive. By developing these six managerial skills builds a solid foundation for success.

    Getting Unstuck

Aristotle said that living well was the end. And, yet today, at a time when our access to knowledge, information and technology are unsurpassed in human history; and our standard of living is higher than ever before, few of us are truly living well.

Too many of us begin and end our days with a feeling that something is missing from our lives. Some of us feel that we are at the end of our rope, because we are living and working faster than ever before, and yet the satisfaction, the fulfillment that we derive from our lives, our work, and our relationships is cursory.

Many of us are living longer, but even among those who have acquired the accouterments of success, fame and glory that are touted as the secret to happiness; the pain of living for the self alone, the anguish of not finding our true purpose in a life that is definitely short, and sometimes brutish is real. Sometimes that pain of those who have achieved wealth, fame and glory spills its way into the tabloids, and yet most of us do not stop and reflect upon the fact that happiness, peace of mind and fulfillment cannot be purchased or acquired, they must be felt.

And, while one could say that happiness is a choice; today the choice to be happy to live with our heads and hearts aligned, to march to a higher drummer by raising the bar on the way we think, live, love, work and spend our time seems to have been lost somewhere between the unprecedented velocity of change, challenge and competition we face in our lives and our work; and a type of generalized amnesia.

And, the march of unreason has infiltrated our popular entertainment, music, and our lives. We not longer listen to music, or seek entertainment that ignites our best thoughts, our deepest feelings, and evokes a sense of wonderment at the gift of life. Instead, the most popular television shows and movies are full of violence, meaningless relationships, sex without any type of attachment or emotion; and, they portray human beings who are living violent, chaotic, meaningless lives.

How many of us spend quality time with friends, neighbors or loved ones? How many of us go to bed at night with a sense of purpose, a palpable feeling that we have lived a great day, rather than having spent it by working and living faster than ever before? How many of us feel truly loved, cherished and valued? How many of us stop to question why the worlds wealth is in the hands of one percent of the worlds population, and dare to recognize that this seemingly illogical distribution of capital cannot ever create a pathway to true peace and prosperity? How many of us feel defined by our good jobs , rather than by who we truly are?

Perhaps it is time to recognize the unreason, the madness of a world that is tipping on the brink of chaos and destruction so that we can get unstuck and start living well.

True happiness is a function of finding our true purpose, and success is a function of creating value for others. True faith and courage are born of love, and without love for ours selves and for our fellow human beings the march towards the destruction of our world is real.

We can march, we can run, we can try to deny what is mirrored in our lives, our relationships, our communities, and our world; but we cannot truly hide. The writing is on the walls of all that we see, hear and feel. And, while we may be afraid of looking at what is wrong with our lives, it is only in standing naked with our truth and questioning the purpose of how we are living that we will start to find the answers.

Living well is something that starts with personal transformation, with a realization that what matters most is not what happens to us, but what we choose to do with it. The most difficult of circumstances or experiences can be transcended when we refuse to be a victim of what was, and start taking back our power to create and re-create what can be by striving to find our best self, our noblest thoughts, emotions and actions.

The secret to success and fulfillment are timeless. Create value for others, and you shall prosper and attain happiness. Love yourself more, and you will feel greater tolerance and love for your fellow human beings. Build a fence around yourself that protects you from the greed and ego of those who are not able to share and seek only to take, because sharing their company will not help you live well or create sustainable prosperity.

Every day presents us with a new opportunity to get unstuck, to remove the shackles that keep us bound to living and working on a collision course that is outstripping our energy, passion, purpose and potential. Every day presents us with an opportunity to begin again now to live well by letting go of what was, and determining what is and what will be.

The power to transform ones life means stretching out of the comfort zone of complacency, letting go of the shackles of victimization, self doubt or the pain of invalidation. And, it means taking back our power to share, to care, and to grow in alignment with our true purpose and potential.

Secret of Law of Attraction - The Truth Behind the Law of Attraction

The secret of law of attraction is actually much more obvious then you may think. There has been a lot of attention around the law of attraction. With all of this attention the truth behind the law of attraction can often be overlooked. So what is the truth and secret of law of attraction?

First of all, the law of attraction is not a quick fix remedy that can change your life overnight. It does have the power to change your life but you must truly understand how it works. Just because you visualize and think more positive thoughts doesnt mean that you will attract everything that you want.

Remember that like attracts like. If you are thinking positive thoughts and visualizing but you arent doing the things necessary to attract what you want, you wont get what you want. Dont overlook the importance of doing. Another thing that you must know is that you will have to change your way of thinking more then just positive thoughts and visualization.

What things in your mind are holding you back? Do you have fear, doubt, mistrust, or inconsistency? If you dont deal with these kinds of things it doesnt matter what how many techniques you put into place. The truth is that this is a process and wont necessarily happen overnight. As YOU change so will the things that you attract into your life. If you expect to attract anything differently without changing yourself, you will eventually realize that its not possible. You have to change you first.

How To Apply The Law Of Attraction

How to Discover Your Inner Power

There is something very important you need to know: That you can create your life to be what you want it to be.

You know that YOU are the creator of all that occurs in all of your life experience, right? Believe it or not; you ARE the one that creates your physical life experience through your thoughts. Literally, every thought that you think gives birth to a creation. EVERY thought you have has creative power.

The thoughts that you think, regarding those things that you want, set into motion the creation, and eventual fulfillment of that which you want. And likewise, the thoughts that you think, regarding those things that you do not want, set into motion the creation, and eventual fulfillment of that which you do NOT want.

To some of you this may be old news. Blah, blah, blah, the Law of Attraction, blah, blah, blah. So how do you use this discovery to improve your life?

There is a simple three step formula that you use to control the Law of Attraction and to manifest your desires into reality. Let me explain a couple of the concepts before moving on.

There is a technique called Creative Visualization and it is the technique of using your imagination to create what you want in your life. There is nothing at all new, or unusual about creative visualization. You are already using it every day, every minute in fact. It is your natural power of imagination, the basic creative energy of the universe which you use constantly, whether you are aware of it or not.

The next concept to become aware of is the way you regard your life. Your life is not your master, it is your child. You groom your life to be the way you desire. You teach yourself, you train yourself, and you make you who you are by growing into yourself. Every moment of your life is infinitely creative and the universe is endlessly bountiful. Just use controlled effort to put forth a clear enough request and everything your heart desires must come to you.

Lastly I must explain to you that what you think is what you get. Be brutally honest with yourself and watch your thoughts. Spend time thinking of what you want rather than what you don't want. Be very careful of this, because if you envision something quite casually, even though you may not be sure you want it, it will manifest. You will get what you ask for; it may not be what you want.

So to get on with the lesson let us grab a piece of paper and pen. Sit down in a comfortable spot and write down your desire. You can have anything you want; you can be anything you desire; so write it down. Imagine if you will a genie just popped out of the bottle and told you that it will give you one wish today: What would that be? Write it down. This is step one; know what you want.

Now that you have firmed up your desire, get comfortable in your chair and daydream about your desire that you just wrote down. Add as much detail as you can, add color, temperature, and any other detail you see fit to add. This; the world of images, is the source of power in your physical world. Imagining what you want is like creating a model before you build the real thing. The images direct the energy in your body. Beliefs generate thoughts; and thoughts generate emotions, which in turn creates your inner experience that becomes your outer reality. If any area of your life is not working, one of your beliefs in that area simply needs to be enhanced. This is step two; see what you desire.

You are the creator of everything in your life. Nothing has happened or happens to you that you have not called to you. Life is really very simple. What we give out, we get back. You create creation with the thoughts that you think.

The inner desire of the wise and conscious soul is to externalize, to create a tangible manifestation of what it internally holds to be true and thereby experience that belief. It is through that experience that the transformation occurs. This is why it is so important to develop self-awareness to the depths of your ability so that no creation can come about in your life without your having made the choice.

Now you must take some time for introspection. Realize that you have created your reality: You have designed your life yourself. Look for yourself; everything is familiar, you have seen it or felt it before. You have created nothing in your outer reality that is a stranger to you. You need to accept reality for what it is: Reality. Once you have that conception, you can change it; sometimes quite rapidly and sometimes a bit slower.

There is comfort to be had by looking at your "outer circumstances" and realize that this is a perfect reflection of what you truly believe as a soul. With each breath, with each pulsation of energy, you send out this essence of yourself, which mingles with other essences and creates and re-creates your physical environment.

Feel yourself centered within and sending out waves of your energy. See it radiation outward from your physical being and into the environment, where it becomes an extension of yourself. Realize that the objects you perceive as "out there" are the materializations of your thoughts, formed by your energy into the symbols of the inner you, the essence of which you are, and thus your very soul. Emotions help you create reality. When you believe in something, love, desire, and want it, you can create it more quickly. If there is anything you want to become aware of, focus upon it. Whatever you turn your attention to, you will create. That was step three; believe.

So there you have the formula for having a happy life the way you want it. Step one; know your desire. Step two; see what you desire. Step three; believe.

    Hidden Secret of Your Personality

Have you ever thought your personality will be judged by the how words you use ?

Have you Ever thought Your words can affect hereditary process? You will come to know most exclusive facts about yourself.. go ahead.

    TAHC=P cycle >> it is stand for :- Thought > Action > Habit > Character = Personality.

As thought generated by mind- It commands to do an Action An loop of action makes Habit- Continuous use of habit make changes in Character of us and character seems in the form of personality.

Mind is very mystic and provide two way programming for brain, Our thought are controlled by listening, writing, speaking. Our personality has power to affect next more than 100 generations by process of hereditary. Now our vocabulary, it plays very Important role in life. The words we speak shows the personality of a person. As I told before that mind provide two way programming that is our way of processing thoughts are controlled the way we speak & then the THAC cycle shows its color.

An Important fact for you that :- Words (vocabulary) are the tools, Speaking/talking is process to use that tools, better use of tools best the result. Now understand it scientifically > talking/speaking is a PSYCHO-NURAL-MUSCULAR activity which is a help-bridge and integrate the conscious and subconscious mind to distills- crystallize & clarifies the thoughts(THAC=P).

The person who speak blunt always uses blunt words, in-fact persons mind gives command (subconsciously) to use blunt words. There are synonyms and Antonym, Positive and negative. Listen, there is no much explanation how we use words but the following example will make understand everything. I just want to say that Vocabulary can be toxic if we use words in a improper way.

Egs. Dont Fall the Bowl >> Hold the Bowl Tight. (Now imagine child is playing with bowl and suddenly her mom(elder) sees so and says Dont Fall the Bowl the child thinks mom is saying so because bowl is just about to fall and over a period of time he does so. The proper way was Hold the Bowl Tight , here child thinks a little carelessness will result in broken pieces so he holds tight. )

As far as parents concern to change childs destiny apart form other aspect- parents vocabulary must be very positive-influencing & strong. Im Stubborn, Im Stupid, Im duffer, I Could, I couldnt. and so on. Habit of speaking such words makes people so. Listen, it is very Interesting now, if a child did not received /listen the proper words during the childhood it is very difficult for such child to develop positive language. (few peoples who has high self-esteem are exceptional)

Eg >>>> during childhood, if parents are saying you are useless / silly/ Cant do a tiny work properly and so on. After childhood the child thinks that my parents are right Im silly and he(Subconscious) always acts in that way, because he knows whatever he going to do will be termed as silly. & develops such habits. Only self-Motivated peoples are exception about this.

Eg>>>>>>>>> See the difference how the person will act if choose between A & B

A1] Im very weak in math B1] Im building my math

A1] dont make mistakes B1] do it in the right way

A2] Dont drive fast B2] Drive Safe

A3] never join bad company B3] Choose the right people

See the difference between A1 & B1. the person who programs himself by saying (a1) Im very weak in math will always have poor results in math. In case of b1 - his mind keeps him reducing the mistakes & keeps building ability.

I hope now you have an idea how to use words properly i.e. Mind your Language

Here are Some more interesting for you( GRAMO-SCIENCE)

    * Would have - past tense that draws attention to things that didn't actually happen.

    * Should have - past tense that draws attention to things that didn't actually happen (and implies guilt)

    * Could have - past tense that draws attention to things that didn't actually happen, but the person tries to take credit as if it did happen .( Eg. I just Couldnt make it)

    * Might - It does nothing definite. It leaves options for your listener

    * Can't/Don't - These words force the listener to focus on exactly the opposite of what you want. This is a classic mistake that parents and coaches make without knowing the damage of this linguistic error.

    Examples:

-- Fatal phrase: 'Don't drop the ball!' Likely result: Drops the ball -- Better language: 'Catch the ball!'

-- Toxic phrase: 'don't watch television.' Likely result: Watches more television.

Better language: 'I read that too much television makes people stupid. You may find yourself turning that TV off and picking up one of those books more often!'

I hope you understood everything clearly and will use proper words next time, You can make your Gene-X more wiser than you. Always remember improper words= Improper(TAHC=P) proper words= proper personality. Always speak much in less words.

Use positive and right words and youll be unique and people like and remembers unique ones. This is how you can make habit of using right and positive language, & you better know what habit makes(i.e. your character). More stronger your personality will brighten the Genex.

That is how : your words, the way you speak, your vocabulary is an secret aspect of your personality.

See, this article has no end by analogies, Examples etc.

    Away Messages for Beginners

With the surge of instant messaging - whether through AOL, Yahoo or one road runner giving a letter to another - there is now the need for good away messages. An away message is similar to an answering machine, telling a friend, relative or stalker of one's absence and then kindly asking for a response. In order to help society - since we all know that's my general goal in life - I have been thinking for the past four minutes of possible away messages for general worldwide usage. But then I realized that there was no universal language, except for the music of Ruben Studdard, so I will instead resort to providing tips

Quotes seem to be a popular part of away messages. People tend to quote famous people, or those whose opinions matter, because it tends to be easier to use someone else's words than to use your own. Something tells me, though, that if people like John Lennon and John F. Kennedy knew that their words were being used in away messages, they would die. And that's a big deal considering they are already dead. So I suggest that people start quoting those whom no one knows or cares about. You know, someone like me. I have 400 columns you can borrow from, or to save you time, go ahead and use this: "I don't really like scrambled eggs. The shells always cut my tongue."

Aside from using an obscure quote, it also seems necessary to make it seem like you are busy. You know, so busy that you couldn't even exit your messaging program but somehow weren't too busy to type an away message. Go figure. Telling people you are busy just won't cut it, however, because we all know that people lie, except for me when I made that scrambled eggs comment. Thus, being more subtle about one's busy schedule is key, ie: "I really don't like scrambled eggs. The shells always cut my tongue." This may seem like a previous example, but look closely: I reversed two of the words for effect...

My final tip for away messages will likely revolutionize the way we all look at life. I really don't like that Mikey character; I still don't think he enjoyed the cereal Oh, I'm sorry, wrong life...

At any rate, my final tip is that since people try so hard to be unique with their messages and make comments that make sense, why not just list a bunch of random words that you think people may want to use in conversation? I would suggest "mouse pad" and "boomerang" as starters. Or maybe just use a semi-colon as an away message because people need to start appreciating those more. The same goes for telemarketers, minus the appreciation part...

When all else fails, realize that an away message can simply state "I am not here. Leave a message." Just keep in mind that no one will talk to you ever again. But I guess that's fine. You're too busy anyway

    But I digress.

How to Build Rock Solid Self Confidence

You have probably noticed those people at work, school, and in your daily life that always appear to be self confident and on top of world.

Everything seems to go right for these people and they always seem to present themselves as calm, collected and law of successful in everything they do.

If you are paying attention you have probably noticed that these self confident people usually are law of successful in every area of their lives.

Is this because they are smarter? Or is it because they have more money? Maybe they are just lucky?

The reality is that none of these things are necessarily true. Self confident people understand the impact of believing in themselves and relying on their abilities.

This confidence ultimately creates opportunities for law of success and with each new law of success another self confidence building block is put into place. Success builds upon law of success reinforcing self confidence with each new achievement.

Self confident people perceive themselves as able to achieve those things they set out to do and this perception creates reality in their lives.

Yes, perception creates reality. You can become the person you want to be. You have heard it said that if you can believe it you can achieve it.

So start believing in yourself, acting on that belief and you will start building self confidence in your life.

Here are some helpful tips to build self confidence one law of success at a time.

    1. Make a list of your strong points.

All the positive things about yourself and the things that you are good at doing. Think of compliments you have received or things that come easily to you. It doesn't matter what it is, if it's good, write it down.

    2. Choose two of those things that you want to work on to improve even more.

It's important to succeed and by concentrating on the areas you are already good at you will have a better chance of becoming even more sure of yourself. Remember that law of success builds upon law of success.

    3. Exude confidence even if you don't feel like it.

Talk to yourself in an encouraging way and stay away from negative thoughts and people as you can.

Instead surround yourself with positive, confident, and law of successful people. This will become a habit and one that will build confidence.

    4. Look at yourself in a different way than you are used to doing.

It can change your life and help your confidence level to rise. See yourself as the self confident person you want to be and before you know it you will become that person.

If you have a set-back do not let it get the best of you. Remember the times when you exhibited self confidence and how good it felt and then try again and each time will help you to build confidence and confidence building will become a way of life.

    Time Of My Life!

What a difference a walk makes. Take the time every now and then to take a stroll in your city to find out new things. I found my city; Stockholm more fascinating for every year that goes by. Its also good for the body to move.

So you get several of benefits by walking. My days during the summer are different then other seasons. I have four pillars in my company. I am working as a personal trainer since twenty years.

The companies that hire me are off training between middle of May until middle of August. My life coaching clients are fewer over the summer as well. I am also a distributor of Xango juice. That I can do all over the world and regardless of the season. The fourth pillar is writing articles and books. So what I do over the summer is planning for the rest of the year. I am also taking good care of me and my body.

Having heaps of rest, out in the fresh air every day. Seeing friends too. Its more writing during the summer time. I like that. It keeps my mind in focus. My priorities are one hour walking and one article every day. Saturday and Sunday I take free time and do less. If its sunshine I am out sunbathing. We have less sun hours up north than other countries. So I have to take the opportunity to be out there.

Another thing I do is to take the computer with me and write else where. Like today and four days ahead I am in Cologne. Today when I landed it was raining. What a good start for writing. A nice, cold beer and a great King Prawn dinner finish of with writing. Be sure that the hotel has W-LAN for the computer. When Im done writing is time for the daily walk. I have been here before and I like it. I decide when I wake up in the morning witch one to do first. Walking or writing. If its raining I write first and walk later when the sun is up again. Thats a nice way to work.

My work as a personal trainer is of nine months of work per year. That leaves lots of free time. I am always telling them at the companies to exercise by them selves. I don t know if they do but they tell me so. Thats why I choose to walk so much. I have also a training bike in my house. Because when it s raining too much I want to move my body anyway. It s a good training tool. You can train when ever you like, listen to music, watch the TV or read a book at the same time. It s great to train your brain too. I cover that with reading books that inspires me. Either about personal development, biography or just fiction to put the mind on ease.

I love my life. I love my work. It s a bless to be able to choose everyday what to do. To be able to have free time. Associate with people I like and love. Just to wake up everyday and feel healthy and happy, wow! Take the time and think over your life.

How can you approve it? How can you make everyday a winning theme? Think of your family. Are you happy with your spouse? Oops a tricky question. Are you making yourself happy, everyday in every situation? If you cant make yourself happy how are you suppose to help other people? It s not to be selfish to think of yourself.

Its a necessity. Take care of yourself first just like in the aeroplane. The air hostess tells us to put the oxygen mask on our selves first then your baby. Think about that. So enjoy life and have fun! See you out there with a big, happy smile. Because you are worth it and so am I.
